Thin Thin Yu

Thin Thin Yu began Footprints Healing Arts upon returning to Vancouver, BC from the USA where she had explored the world of healing and massage therapy for several years. Her original interest in healing touch was instilled at a young age in Burma (Myanmar) through the influence of her grandmo ther.

Thin Thin earnestly and diligently pursued the path of holistic healing by learning many forms of healing arts and developing a full time massage therapy practice in five star resorts and spas. She has continued to consult with Buddhist healers and explore the ancient practice of Qigong. Thin Thin is blessed to realize her true potential in health and healing for herself and others through touch therapies.

Thin Thin passionately believes that one must take responsibility for one’s own health by being intimately aware of the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of one’s being. In her sessions, she will encourage you to listen to your own body, pay attention to your own breath and take yourself back to the core of who you are.

Prior to becoming a massage practitioner, Thin Thin earned a M.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
